Core Engineering Principles

Zero-Trust Verification

Every ticket generated by EventPass is signed using Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA). Scanners verify the cryptographic signature locally—instantly rejecting forged screenshots or manipulated data.

Offline-First Architecture

Venue internet is notoriously unreliable. EventPass scanners operate perfectly offline, caching state and performing local verification. Once a connection is restored, data synchronizes asynchronously.

Privacy by Design

We only collect the data necessary to securely issue a ticket. Because verification is mathematical, we don't need to transmit heavy personal payloads during the check-in process, protecting attendee privacy.
