For decades, the ticketing industry has been plagued by a fundamental flaw: trust. Organizers struggle to verify the authenticity of tickets at the gates, while attendees constantly worry about purchasing fake passes on the secondary market.
Legacy systems rely on slow database lookups over unstable venue networks, leading to massive queues, delayed entry, and frustrated attendees. When the internet drops, the gates grind to a halt.

We believe event entry should take milliseconds, not minutes. We believe security should be uncompromising but invisible to the end-user. By leveraging modern cryptographic primitives, we've eliminated the need for continuous cloud synchronization at the gates.
Core Engineering Principles
Zero-Trust Verification
Every ticket generated by EventPass is cryptographically secured using JSON Web Signatures (JWS). Scanners verify the cryptographic signature locally—instantly rejecting forged screenshots or manipulated data. Guests can also add their tickets seamlessly to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
Offline-First Architecture
Venue internet is notoriously unreliable. EventPass scanners operate perfectly offline, caching state and performing local verification. Once a connection is restored, data synchronizes asynchronously.
Privacy by Design
We only collect the data necessary to securely issue a ticket. Because verification is mathematical, we don't need to transmit heavy personal payloads during the check-in process, protecting attendee privacy.
